The figure 8 desktop fastener is an easy to install tool for securing table or desktops. Very Simple in Design-these flat fasteners are shaped like two washers that got crushed in a press somewhere, ending up with a figure-eight shape. By recessing one “washer” into the top of your vertical piece, you use the other “washer” to attach to the horizontal. It is made with the high quality of die casting steel (almost 1/8 thick) coated with zinc for rusting and corrosion resistance.
