Quality adzes for various woodworking tasks, such as production and finishing of carpentry joints, hand production of corner and axillary rafters, mangers creation, or removal of wood in woodcarving.
Our adzes are available in two sizes:
- Small adze - blade width 50mm and total length 290mm makes this adze suitable for work with one hand to create e.g. smaller bowls or trays.
- Large adze - blade width 70mm and total length 620mm makes this adze suitable for work with two hands to create e.g. bigger wooden mangers or rafters
Both our adzes come with leather edge guard.
Steel grade - Cr-Mn steel, hardened edge.
The hardness of the metal according to Rockwell is 59 HRC
Handle material - natural ash (long, two-handed version) .

These chisels are made by a Narex highly respected tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and are of exceptional quality. The blades are made from fine-grained, nicely tempered chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59. The blades take and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross section that woodworkers prefer. As with all edge tool, they'll need final sharpening before use.
