AQUASEAL CORK SEALANT 2oz. -For maintaining sandals, espadrilles and other footwear like Birkenstock Sandals that have cork soles. -Helps protect against water damage. -Prevents chipping & abrading. -Enhances appearance. -Defends against the erosion of the cork surface. Usage Tips: Start with clean cork. Shake well. Holding the sandal right side up, apply a coat to all cork surfaces. Avoid getting it on the footwear uppers. Let dry overnight. Reapply as required to keep cork preserved. 1- Brush off any loose dirt and particles with a nylon bristle brush. 2- Clean the sole with water, a little soap and a scrub brush 3- Abrade the sides of the soles with light sandpaper or Scotch-Brite™. 4- Apply AQUASEAL Cork Sealant as per the instructions on the bottle. IF USED IN UNTREATED NATURAL CORK, THIS PRODUCTS WORK BETTER WITH FINE GRAINED CORK. In the picture, it shows a coarse-grained natural cork that had been treated with Aquaseal Cork Sealant.
