The Down River Gunnison line of dry boxes are built the same as our bomber custom dry boxes. The only difference is that they come in four stock sizes. DRE dry boxes are built with 0.080in thick aircraft grade aluminum which results in the strongest, most durable box for its weight. No hangers are required as each box has built-in tabs that rest on the frame rails. The gasket material is a sponge steel EPDM, that will last for years and is easily replaceable when the time comes.

The Down River Equipment 4-Bay Colorado LD Single Rail can hold everything needed for multi-day expeditions, but isn't overkill for day floats. This frame efficiently carries a large cooler and dry box as well as an optional seating area for passengers with storage underneath. The simple design breaks down into seven pieces to be packed by car, plane or burro.
