Description

This exquisite wood pen is made from reclaimed wood from George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate and is perfect for any history buff or pen collector.
These finely turned pens are created by Doug Dill, master woodturner based in Lanexa, Virginia. All of the wood used for the Historic Wood line is sourced from trees which grew at Mount Vernon; currently available are pens sourced from a pecan tree circa 1850. Each piece is one of a kind. Pens are hand-numbered with the tree's date under the gold plated barrel, and a small card with its unique serial number and tree source is included in every gift box. The pens are also accompanied with a numbered certificate, signed by the Regent of the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association for authenticity. Pens are approximately 5 3/4" long Please note that color, grain, and occasional knots will vary for each pen Handmade in the USA
