Just learning linocut/block printing. Never worked in visual arts at all before, so I'm super new at all of this. This subreddit has been a great read for ideas and examples of both complete bad-assery and also simple but great printing. Here's what I've done so

First timer here. My print keeps turning up so blotchy and the design isn't saturated on the paper at all. I've tried diluting the ink with water a bit but that seems to make it worse. I've tried using more ink and that also doesn't work. Any advice? I'm using Essdee
