The KnapWrap is a complete flint-knapping (arrowhead making) kit that comes in an attractive 12-slot leather tool roll along with practice knapping rocks (appx. 2 lbs of obsidian, jasper and/or agate flakes, spalls and cobbles. Tool wrap doubles as a leather leg pad once the tools are removed (or you can add your own). The kit includes direct and indirect percussion tools: copper bopper-M, 1.25" x 12" delrin rod and/or antler billet (depending upon availability), 3 hammerstones (SML), rubber pressure flaking pad with flake groove, 2 abraders, wood/copper pressure flaker, 5/16" x 12" steel indirect rod, wood/steel microflaker and a 4"X4" leather square to wrap around indirect percussion rod for added control/stability. Also included is a mesh bag (no addtl. charge) OR sheepskin carry satchel (additional $20) for small tools, rocks and other smaller items (select option at checkout). Wood/copper pressure flaker can be upgraded to the delrin/copper pressure flaker for an additional $18.00. Leather tool roll can be treated with mink oil for an additional $10.00. *Note: Leather tool roll color for this listing will be jade green, black, tan or brown. Kits are assembled by Dan Gunn (KnapperDan) of Primitive Path. KnapperDan's shop carries an assortment of flint-knapping supplies, stone tools, awesome rocks and handmade jewelry. He collects many of the rocks featured in his artwork and jewelry on frequent rockhounding trips throughout the desert southwest with his wife and three dogs.
