Description

Many museums are currently choosing Paraloid B-72 lacquer over cellulose nitrate lacquers (because of curling, flaking and instability problems) to catalog and label objects in their collections. the new lacquer is 25% solution by weight of Paraloid B-72 in acetone and comes premixed in 1 0z. wide mouth jars. It is available in both clear (for labeling light colored objects) and opaque formulation (for labeling dark colored objects). the opaque lacquer has titanium dioxide added as the pigment. Please consult a conservator before applying to any objects. Price each. Please note: A top coat is not always necessary and may blur inks if applied before enough drying time has occurred. CANNOT EXPORT!  GROUND SHIPMENTS (NO AIR) WITHIN CONTINENTAL US ONLY!
