This pink gold pen plating solution is nickel, lead, and cadmium free, and despite being a traditional cyanide based alkaline chemical, it is easily transported given the toxic level contained is below the limit established by international transportation  laws. Concentrated, full-strength liquid can be plated directly over nickel, gold, steel or platinum. This jar contains a whopping 300 milligrams (.3 gram) of pure gold.
