When doing patchwork work, you sew exactly the required seam allowance of ¼ inch on both sides. The PattiPatch diagonal seam tape is an adhesive tape that is stuck to the sewing machine as a guide. Align the red line in the middle exactly with the needle of the sewing machine. The two black lines are then placed on the left and right on both sides at a distance of 0.6 cm (=1/4 inch=inch). The adhesive tape can be removed easily and cleanly. You should remove or replace it every few weeks to avoid leaving residue on the machine.
