  We can't stop caressing this paper! It's smooth without being glassy. Some call it "velvety". We have yet to see any feathering from any ink (including Noodler's Bay State Blue!)—ink lines stay crisp. The Tomoe River paper in this book is quite light and thin (52 gsm), so this 320-page book is a compact 6 tenths of an inch thick. That's an exceptionally high page count without being cumbersome.
