The silver cans came with UK made 221K Featherweights
Featured are the common oil can styles that would have come with your Singer Featherweight. The small green cans would have been issued in the US from 1933-1950, the large green ones issued in the US and UK from early to late 1950s, and the pink ones from the 60s. The silver cans came with UK made 221K Featherweights from 1947 through about 1952. Since the cans went in metal brackets, they did get scratched up. The cans that are available here are in good condition with minimal marking. (Unless otherwise noted)
