Epoxy Tips To avoid damage avoid exposing mold to heat and harsh chemicals Most epoxies are meant to be poured 1/8" at a time. The ratio of additive to epoxy should be no more than 10%. Time must be allowed for the air bubbles to rise and escape before pouring your mold fully. Fill your mold slightly, allow a minute for your air bubbles to rise, gently tap it on the counter or against your hand to allow more air bubbles rise, spritz with 91% alcohol, repeat steps until full. It should take you 5-10 minutes to fill your mold. This is plenty of time as most epoxies give you 30-45 minutes in working time once mixed.
